This card has two pockets-one for money/gift card and one for a tag.Not sure where I seen something similar but I just loved the idea, so I set out to make something on my own. As I had no template or instructions I came up with some very easy ones. Just a couple very easy measurements.
Supplies & Instruction's
1- I used a Lime Green # 10 business envelope by Die Cuts With a View for mine. Seal & Fold in half. Cut off a 1/16 in. strip off the end of each side of envelope away from the fold, to create your two pockets.2-While holding it folded in half. Measure width & height less 1/8 of an inch all the way around. Your measurements will vary depending on what size envelope you used. Now cut out your decorative paper that size and adhere to the front of your pocket. I used a stripe paper from the Cosy Christmas Collection by Quick Cards. Here is a good way to use up scratch paper if you have any.
3-Next decorate the front of your pocket with die cuts and embellishments of your choice. I used a loop die cut I made with my Cricut from red card stock from my stash. I used a Rick St Dennis digi Iryna . I colored her with colored pencils and matted with lime green card stock from my stash. I also added White Glitter Puffy Paint by Tulip.
4-Punch a hole in top 2 corners of both pockets. I did them at the same time so they would match. String a piece of ribbon thru from the back on each side and tie in the front to create your handle.
I added a white bow I made from a string Avocado bag and a red felt/metal snowflake by Make It Christmas.
5-Next I cut and made a Tag from coordinating papers and added a metal snowflake from my stash.
Now your done. This little Gift Card/Money Envelope is very easy and can be decorated a little or alot.
What a great and easy to make gift card holder! Thank you for the easy to understand directions too!
